Saturday
Watercolour Workshops September 18 October 16 November 20 This fall I will be
offering workshops for inexperienced and beginner watercolourists. If you have no knowledge at all of
watercolour painting, or if you just wish to review the basic techniques,
these Saturday classes are for you! My goal is to help you to enjoy painting,
and build up some skills in a relaxed, non-threatening, fun atmosphere. Along the way, you can expect to meet some
new, like-minded friends. By the end
of each day, you can expect to have a couple of finished paintings and some
ideas for what to do next. Each session will
look like this: The morning will be
spent looking at basic techniques, and actually finishing a simple painting
together. We may do a still life, or
we may work from photos. In the
afternoon you will have the chance to start a second painting and practice your
skills on a subject of your own choosing. . These
paint days will be from at the
Cost: $50 a
day Drinks
and snacks will be provided. Participants are
asked to bring along a bag lunch. A
microwave is available. t meet some new like-minded
friends. By the end of each day you
should have a couple of finished paintings, as well as some ideas for what to
do next. A note about materials: I will be glad to supply a list of suggested materials for all watercolour workshops. If this is your first class, you can take the list with you to the nearest art store, and get some help to find things. You will want to buy the best materials that you can afford. If something seems too expensive just yet, or you’re not even sure you’ll like watercolour, let me know and I will be glad to share with you. I always have extra paper with me that you can purchase, too. Contact Kathie for more information and to
sign up. 519-364-7875 _________________________________________________ well as some ideas for what to do next. The |
